GNG Sikh Temple have been kicked out of the Sunday League.

The move follows a number of incidents, including the abandonment of their match against Heywood Irish Centre after abuse of the referee.

Sikh Temple were fined by the league and had their West Riding FA affiliation suspended.

Now fellow Sunday League clubs have voted unanimously to give the Bradley outfit the red card.

Sunday League rules state that no more than five registered players of a club who have been kicked out can join another existing team or form a new one.

The league’s annual meeting is on Wednesday, June 25.
