HUDDERSFIELD Town have been busy with season card saIes and lots of comings and goings on the playing and coaching front.
The Patrons Club have been busy too arranging meetings for the coming year and looking at opportunities for trips to away games.
Those who have been with us before know that these are excellent days out and fantastic value for money.
The first one being considered is the Birmingham game on October 6 where we will renew acquaintance with our former manager and coaching staff.
Planned meetings start next Thursday when promotion-winning manager Simon Grayson will be our guest, and others already planned are New Players on October 4, The Board on December 6 and the Sports Quiz for the Will Venters Trophy on January 17.
These meetings are now normally members only so bring your card but, occasionally, we do open them up to guests and people who want to see what we do.
All Patrons membership subscriptions go to support the Academy. Simon Grayson will visit us next Thursday at the Canalside Complex, Leeds Road, when it’s 7.30 for an 8.00 start.
It’s our first meeting of the season and we will hear from our manager, and possibly some of his coaching team.
They have had a busy season preparing for the Championship and it will be interesting to hear their views on ins and outs, the season ahead, pre-season etc.

Patrons travel to Birmingham is likely to leave around 9.30am and cost around £15 to £17, depending on numbers, and will involve lunch at a nearby venue. Our prices include transport and meal.
