TOWN'S League I match at Yeovil in January has been brought forward by 24 hours for coverage on Sky Sports.

Originally scheduled for Saturday 6, the date of the FA Cup third round, the game will now take place on Friday 5 with a 7.45 kick-off.

Both sides were eliminated from the first round on Saturday (Yeovil went down 3-1 at Rushden while Town were losing 1-0 at home to Blackpool) so there is no chance of a cup-tie taking precedence over the league fixture.

Town will make the 255-mile trip to Huish Park aiming to avenge a 3-2 home defeat by the Glovers on September 16.

They were 2-1 winners at the Somerset venue last season with goals by Andy Booth and Mark Hudson.

Russell Slade's Yeovil are currently second in the table, with Town ninth.

Sky screened Town's 2-0 defeat at Crewe back on September 2.

Town Reserves host Walsall in a Pontin's Holidays League Central Division clash at the Galpharm tomorrow (2.00).

Defender David Mirfin (thigh) and midfielder Chris Brandon (hamstring) should both play after injury-enforced absences.
