PETER JACKSON unleashes a three-pronged strikeforce on wily Walsall tomorrow with instructions to "wreak havoc."
Town's manager believes loan man Luke Beckett, top scorer Pawel Abbott and local legend Andy Booth can fire his side back into the play-off picture.
He's looking for proof at the Bescot Stadium (3.00), where Town are hunting a League double and back-to-back victories for only the second time this season despite Walsall's solid record in front of their own fans.
"All our frontmen are capable of scoring the goals to win matches if we give them the right service," said Jackson, who recalls Chris Brandon after suspension and adds youth midfielder Michael Collins to the squad.
"While we are a dangerous unit going forward, it's important we set our sights on keeping a clean sheet as well.
"I'm fed up of saying to the lads that we've got to start keeping clean sheets. I tell them week in and week out, so it's about time they went out and did it."
Town's last was 12 matches ago at Colchester, who put five past Walsall in midweek, leading to Paul Merson's attempted resignation and the departure of coach Frank Barlow to Forest.
"Upheaval like that can put a club out of its stride or draw everyone closer together to become more unified, so let's hope it's not the latter," said Jackson, who knows Merson has told his players to show "real bottle" tomorrow.
"Walsall have been strong at home and we have to be aware of that, but if we go there and play like we can I've no doubt we can come back with the points.
"We can't afford to let Paul Merson perform, wherever he starts in the line-up, and we have to give our strikers the ammunition they need."
Midfielder Lee Fowler goes into the game having been called up by Wales Under 21s for the qualifier against Germany at the Racecourse Ground on Tuesday, February 8 (6.30).
Jackson reports both Andy Holdsworth, who had a double hernia operation, and Tony Carss are doing well today and will start rehabilitation at the Galpharm on Monday.
"They should be swimming in about a week's time," added the manager.
