TOWN returned to the top six of League I thanks to Robbie Williams' superbly-struck free-kick.

The left-back netted in the 59th minute at wet and windy Boundary Park after a foul by Rueben Hazell on Jordan Rhodes 25 yards out.

Alex Smithies denied Town old boy Pawel Abbott an equaliser with a fine 78th-minute save.

But Lee Clark's side, who hit the bar through Rhodes in the first half, were good value for their first away win in six attempts.
