AFTER a lot of time and effort behind the scenes, the Supporters Association has convinced the club to allow Town fans in the Pink Link Stand, which is normally the reserve of away fans only, when Yeovil are Town’s next visitors on Tuesday (7.45).

Over the last few months we have stressed the importance of this initiative as many fans feel it will help to generate a better atmosphere within the ground.

The club have talked extensively to KSDL, the safety team at the Galpharm Stadium and the Events Panel – which includes the emergency services such as the police – about making the Pink Link Stand available to home fans.

And HTSA would like to thank all parties for their work towards this goal.

Many obstacles have been overcome and we are confident it will be a success, and that this scenario can then be repeated several times this season.

Because of the subsequent increased stewarding costs there will be an administration charge (£1 adults and 50p concessions) for season-ticket holders who swap their seat to one in the Pink Link Stand for the game.

All tickets and exchanges must be purchased by 5.00pm on Monday, with no Pink Link Stand turnstile availability for home fans on the night.

Any fan unable to get to the ground prior to this due to location or work responsibilities can ring the HTFC Ticket Office on 0870 44 44 552 and they will produce a ticket for you that can be exchanged for Matchday Voucher No7 on the night of the game.

We would urge all Town fans to get behind this and cheer our team from the Pink Link Stand against Yeovil.

Our support can really make a difference. Annual membership of HTSA is free to Under 8s, £2 for 8-13 years, and £5 for those aged over 13. You can now sign up on-line on the website: www.htsa.co.uk – or simply download a membership form from there.

We organise coach travel to each away game during the new season (to book your place contact Michael Scott on 07926 165863) or look for details of upcoming trips on www.htsa.co.uk.

This Saturday is a joint trip with the Patrons, leaving the stadium at 9.15am for a lunch stop in Peterborough. Please contact the number above or ring Martin Lister on 01484 714287.
