JORDAN RHODES is firing on all cylinders.

That's the message from manager Lee Clark as Town prepare to tackle Swindon in a key League I clash.

The 18-goal top scorer was subbed at half-time as Brentford were beaten 1-0 at Griffin Park on Tuesday.

But Clark, whose side are unbeaten in 16 and chasing a fifth win in six games, explained: "Jordan has started each of the last three games, and the reason he was brought off at Brentford was purely tactical.

"We were concerned that their two centre-backs were winning most of the aerial battles, so we changed our shape, and with one central striker, you need to have someone with power and pace to get in behind. Benik Afobe and Danny Cadamarteri gives you that."

Rhodes is due to join up with the Scotland Under 21 squad for their game in Belgium next Thursday after the Swindon clash.
