Huddersfield Town have the fourth best home kit in the Championship this season - according to our survey on strips.

Newcastle United, Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest edged Town in the vote, with the Reds being awarded the title of best Championship kit this campaign.

Over 15,000 people took part in the vote, with more than 50,000 individual upvotes and downvotes cast.

Town took an early lead in the poll, but the vote was quickly hijacked by Birmingham City, Aston Villa and Newcastle United fans who immediately took their teams to the top.

Villa dropped away sharply, with their kit being downvoted by Blues fans en masse, leaving the way clear for Forest to claim victory.

Town still finished in the play-off places, which is more than can be said by Burton Albion, Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday who had their kits relegated by voters.

Despite the results, Town fans still believe they have the nicest home strip in the division this term, and tactical will not persuade them otherwise.

Felix Mitchell wrote: "Best shirt in the Championship by a country mile! Our club! UTT!", with Andy Sharp agreeing Town's strip was "easily the best by miles".

Terriers fan Darren Wormald commented: "Blue & white stripes (check)... Huddersfield Town badge (check)... yeah it's definitely the best".

We hear you Darren.
