TOWN have earmarked three more matches for their fans to use the Pink Link Stand.

Chairman-elect Dean Hoyle was delighted by the atmosphere generated from that section during Tuesday’s goalless draw with Yeovil.

And the lifelong fan – who is keen to see Stan Ternent’s side improve on 19th place in the League I table – revealed the experiment will continue.

“There were 487 of our fans in the Pink Link and they gave us fantastic vocal support,” said Hoyle.

“The noise coming from there really made a difference in my opinion and that’s got to be a big positive.

“We will definitely be looking to repeat the move and the Galpharm games we are looking at are Leyton Orient next month, followed by Walsall and Hereford in December.”

The Pink Link Stand is normally exclusively for away supporters.

“Lots have already told me they’ll go in there next time, so that’s good,” added Hoyle.

Ex-Town man Adnan Ahmed has joined Mansfield on loan.
