PETER JACKSON will select from a full squad for the first time since August insisting it will be all guns blazing against MK Dons on Saturday.

The Galpharm chief watched Town self destruct to suffer a third home defeat of the season 3-1 to Tranmere Rovers last night, leaving them eighth in the table as one of five clubs on 20 points.

Jackson now has midfielder Danny Schofield available after a four-match ban, however, and with no fresh injury worries he has 22 names to conjure with for a clash with the Milton Keynes franchise which now takes on added significance.

"What happened last night sums up the division so far and anyone who can find some consistency will do well," said Jackson, whose side have won back-to-back League I games just once this season, against Hull City and Port Vale.

"The reason we were successful last season was that we kept a lot of clean sheets and that gave us the basis to play our football, score some goals and pick up the points to keep us at the top.

"Unfortunately, this time, we are giving a lot of stupid goals away and it's hurting us.

"If we cut out the sort of individual errors which cost us so dearly last night then we will be fine, because we've already shown we are capable of beating anybody.

"It was disappointing to lose, especially with a big crowd to watch us after the win at Luton, but there's not a lot of point stewing over it.

"I'll have a look at the game again, study exactly what happened and then make my plans to face MK Dons.

"It's another big game for us and the most important thing is to be positive about our preparation and positive in the way we go about our business on Saturday.

"We are still in a great position and, after the disappointment of last night, I'm sure we will bounce back."

Pawel Abbott's ninth goal of the season was not enough to combat a double from Theodore Whitmore and a clinching strike by Chris Dagnall in front of 10,324, including scouts from Leeds (Ronnie Jepson), Liverpool and Newcastle.

"I thought we more than matched Tranmere in terms of play, but we didn't have that break in front of goal or that little bit of luck which we needed - and we got punished.

"Tranmere made the most of the chances our mistakes presented them with and we couldn't turn it around.

"I took a central defender off in Steve Yates to get another attacker into the fray in Andy Booth, and I thought we we had some decent opportunities towards the end.

"The lads kept on going and kept putting Tranmere under a lot of pressure, but the ball just wouldn't drop for us in the box."

Jackson will keep any potential team changes under wraps against an MK Dons side who play at Hull tonight aiming to improve their fourth from bottom placing and they are, in fact, eighth in the form table.

"We won't get our heads down," he added.

"There's a lot of determination in the squad and, when we've had disappointments in the past, we've always fought straight back."

Town's Michael Collins, having played 90 minutes in the Republic of Ireland Under 19's 4-0 win against Andorra, was due to line up against hosts Cyprus today in the UEFA Youth Championships. The Republic finish their schedule against Russia on Friday.
