Strike partners Andy Booth and Ronnie Jepson will be back together when Huddersfield Town stage their 20-Year Reunion Dinner for the 1995 Wembley promotion side.

Tickets are still available for the event at the John Smith’s Stadium on Friday, June 5, and Jepson has confirmed he’ll be there for the celebrations.

That season, of course, Town’s first at the new stadium, Jepson and Booth became the first Town strikeforce since the 1920s to each score 20 goals in the same season.

Booth was on target at Wembley, too, in the play-off final success against Bristol Rovers, when Chris Billy grabbed a dramatic winner.

While skipper Lee Sinnott is unavoidably unable to attend, then Town manager Neil Warnock has confirmed he’ll be along and will answer questions from guests.

Paul Fletcher will speak about the stadium an all that went into getting it set up, while the players attending include Boothy and Rocket Ron, Jon Dyson, Darren Bullock, Steve Francis, Tom Cowan, Billy, Paul Reid, Iain Dunn, Simon Trevitt, Kevin Gray, Richard Logan, Lee Duxbury, Pat Scully and Rodney Rowe.

Derm Tanner will be the MC and Town hope it will be a sell-out. Tickets, including supper, are £25 and are available from the club’s commercial department. Contact Katie on 01484 484183.
