PETER JACKSON is confident Town can clinch automatic promotion and told his players today: "It's all about belief at this stage."

Jackson recognises Town will slip to third unless MK Dons beat Brentford tomorrow but he's upbeat about the run-in.

"We've got great spirit here - as was shown in our fightback at Vale Park - and we are in a fantastic position," said Jackson.

"I believe we can do it and the players believe we can do it and, at this stage of the season, it's all about belief.

"There will be a few doubts around Swansea and there will be a few doubts around Brentford after three straight defeats, but I have no doubts about my lads.

"I'm confident, but I'm not being over confident because we know we've got a lot of hard work ahead and we need to play well.

"There are no easy games for us to play, but we've got every incentive to do well and we'll stick with it."

Jackson added: "The fans were great on Saturday and we need a really good atmosphere against Barnsley for what is now a very big game for this club."
