TOWN are hoping for a big cash bonus over the busy holiday period through £62,500 worth of unused Friend for a Fiver vouchers.

Every season-ticket holder over the age of 13 was given three of the vouchers entitling a friend to £5 admission.

In Town's first nine home League games, a total of 3,319 vouchers have been used this season compared with 2,231 in the same spell last term.

There are still over 12,500 to be used, however, and Town hope fans will take the opportunity to invite friends, family or workmates to the upcoming games.

Town have already designated the McAlpine game against Oxford on Saturday, December 20, as a `Quid a Kid' fixture while they anticipate a bumper crowd against Bury on December 28.

"The fact that more Friend for a Fiver vouchers are being used is encouraging and reflects the spirit of optimism there is around the club, but there are still a lot more to be cashed in," said ticket office manager Sue Beaumont.

"We would encourage ticket holders to exchange their vouchers before matchday if possible to save queueing at the ticket office, particularly for the games over the holiday period which are sure to prove very popular."
