TOWN look set to come face to face with Leeds striker Tresor Kandol when they aim to repeat last season’s win at Millwall.

The on-loan frontman, who netted 11 times for Leeds last time around, turns 27 tomorrow and will aim to celebrate by bagging a second goal for the Lions.

His first came in the opening-day 4-3 defeat by current League I leaders Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park.

Since then the Londoners have been dumped from the Carling Cup by Northampton and drawn with them in the league, and there has also been a stalemate with Southend.

Kandol missed last Saturday’s goalless draw at Northampton after picking up a dead leg while on international duty with DR Congo.

But the former Barnet player has been back in training this week and could figure alongside Lewis Grabban and Gary Alexander in a three-man frontline.

Former Hull and Leyton Orient player Alexander was joint-top scorer with on-loan Arsenal man Jay Simpson last season.

But the fact that the pair managed only eight apiece goes some way to explaining why boss Kenny Jackett had to be satisfied with a final placing of 17th.

Grabban also got a goal at Oldham, and hopes are high that the 20-year-old former Crystal Palace player will develop into a real dangerman.

Another former Palace man, Tony Craig, could move back to his favoured left-back berth from central midfield tomorrow.

With ex-Manchester City player Marc Laird almost certainly ruled out by a hamstring injury, former Swansea chief Jackett is being tipped to reorganise his engine room.

Homegrown Ali Fuseini and ex-Plymouth player Jimmy Abdou could start alongside David Martin, another signing from Palace, or ex-Orient and Luton man Ahmet Brkovic.

Craig would then take his place in a defence also featuring Chris Hackett at right-back and Paul Robinson and Zak Whitbread in the centre in front of goalkeeper David Forde, newly recruited from Cardiff.
