TOWN’S pre-season glamour game against Arsenal is to be screened live on Setanta Sports.
The centenary match takes place at the Galpharm Stadium on Wednesday, August 6 (7.00), with fans hoping Spain’s Euro 2008 winner Cesc Fabregas will be among the stars on view.
The clash – which is new manager Stan Ternent’s final warm-up match before the season-opening League I clash against Stockport on August 9 – is one of a raft of pre-season fixtures to be screened by the expanding broadcast company, whose roots are in Ireland.
They start with the Tranmere versus Liverpool clash on Saturday week.
Setanta also operate Arsenal TV, which will screen all the club’s pre-season friendlies as well as replays of competitive games.
