TOWN could be in for a cash windfall as Jon Stead appears to be for sale at Blackburn.
The 21-year-old is down the pecking order at Ewood Park and could be on the move to newly-promoted Sunderland this summer.
Rovers claim they've paid £750,000 so far to Town and value Stead at £1.25m
Town would get 17.5% of any profit should he move on from a sell-on clause in his transfer. Sunderland offered £0.8m to Town before Stead went to Rovers for £1.25m.
