TOWN have signed Burnley's Northern Ireland international striker Martin Paterson.
The 26 year-old has agreed a two-year contract, with Town having the option of a further 12 months, to become the Championship club's third capture in two days after Bristol City striker Jon Stead and Wolves winger Adam Hammill.
Paterson was out of contract after four years at Turf Moor, turning down a new deal with the Clarets, for whom he scored 37 times in 152 games after a £1m move from Scunthorpe and played Premier League football in 2009-10.
Paterson began his career at Stoke and had a loan spell at Grimsby, and has netted 58 goals in 225 games at club level. He has one goal in 15 Northern Ireland appearances.
