TOWN supporters are being urged not to swamp the stadium ticket office immediately before Tuesday's home opener against Chesterfield.
Queues at the ticket windows are already expected to be long because on-the-night admission to the Singing Section of the John Smith's Kilner Bank is by ticket only.
So season-ticket holders wishing to buy tickets for the away games against Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds or, indeed, wanting to exchange Friend for a Fiver vouchers for the Chesterfield game, are advised to do so before Tuesday if possible.
Ticket office manager Sue Beaumont said: "We are very busy at the moment in any case, which shows the fantastic support we are getting, but we anticipate Tuesday to be especially busy before the game.
"We are open from 9am to 5pm tomorrow and Monday and from 9am to noon on Saturday, so there are opportunities for people to come down and get their tickets.
"This would be especially beneficial to those fans who want to sit in the Singing Section of the Kilner Bank.
"Because of the exceptional amount of season-tickets we have sold in that area, paying at the turnstiles to sit in the South section of the John Smith's Stand for individual matches just isn't possible."
Demand has been huge to watch Peter Jackson's side in action, with new signings Junior Mendes and Chris Brandon joining the promotion winners.
Town are likely to make a number of home games all-ticket with plenty of notice given.
Tickets for the League trip to Hillsborough on Saturday, August 21, go on general sale on Saturday morning.
Tickets for the Carling Cup-tie at Leeds on August 24 are not on general sale until a week tomorrow, August 13.
Stockport have revealed that tickets can be bought on the day at Edgeley Park for the Coca-Cola League I opener against Town this Saturday.
But fans will have to go to the ticket office there and it's expected to be extremely busy.
Tickets remain on sale at the Galpharm and prices are (down the touchline) £19 for adults, £11 for seniors and students and £7 for juniors. Behind the goal it's £16, £11 and £6.
