HUDDERSFIELD Town secured a point at Walsall on Saturday - but what did you make of the performances.

Below are the ratings from Examiner Huddersfield Town reporter Doug Thomson and the fans' ratings are on page two.

IAN BENNETT

As solid as ever, little chance to stop Cuvelier's goal and made a brave late block to thwart Ledesma. 7

CALUM WOODS
Made a solid start to the game at left-back before being forced off by a knee injury only 20 minutes in. 6

JACK HUNT
Got forward well in the first half and applied himself to his defensive duties when Town came under pressure. 7

SEAN MORRISON
Got through plenty of work, especially in the second half, but conceded a few too many free-kicks. 6

PETER CLARKE
Like colleague Morrison, he got in some telling tackles, with his best thwarting Ledesma in the area. 7

SCOTT ARFIELD
Was lively and often involved in the first half, but his influence waned after the turnaround. 6

TOMMY MILLER
Passed the ball well and got through the full 90 after a tight hamstring kept him out the week before. 7

DAMIEN JOHNSON
An encouraging first game in 10 after a hamstring injury was ended early after a collision with Butler. 7

LEE NOVAK
The busy striker slotted his 16th goal and could have had another but finished nursing a tight hamstring. 7

KALLUM HIGGINBOTHAM
Back from his loan at Barnsley, the roaming frontman was bright before the break but tired after it. 7

DANNY WARD
Town’s delivery man looked lively in the first half despite the bout of illness which forced him off at the break. 7

SUBSTITUTES
Tom Clarke (for Woods, 20mins) 7;
Gary Roberts (for Ward, HT) 6;
Oscar Gobern (for Johnson) 62mins, 6.
