ANDY BUTLER believes he has a point to prove to Town this afternoon.

The 27-year-old ex-Galpharm centre-back, pictured left, is set to skipper Walsall in the Banks’s Stadium showdown.

Butler played 58 times for Town after switching from Scunthorpe in the 2008 close-season before leaving after a loan spell at Blackpool last season.

He’s played nine times for the West Midlanders after signing in November, and said: “I’m looking forward to this game.

“I feel I have a point to prove and it’s up to me to do the business.

“It will be a tough game for us. Huddersfield are up where they are in the table (fourth) for a reason and we’ll have to work hard.

“But we go into the game on the back of two decent away performances, which have given us heart.

“Now we need to do the business at home and build some momentum.”

Second-bottom Walsall, under the caretaker managership of Dean Smith after the departure of former Town player Chris Hutchings, also have ex-Town loan man Steve Jones in their squad.
