Huddersfield Town fell to a second league defeat on the spin at Craven Cottage on Saturday as Fulham ran out 3-1 winners .

Harry Bunn missed a wonderful opportunity to hand the Terriers a first-half lead and Town were immediately punished when former Leeds United striker Ross McCormack and Hugo Rodallega teamed up for the latter to fire home.

Chris Powell got a response from his side after the break and they deservedly pulled level when Joel Lynch headed home from a Paul Dixon free-kick but pressed the self-destruct button straight from kick-off to allow the talented Lasse Vigen Christensen through to net the hosts' second.

Town tried to push for another leveller but were caught out on the break late on as Rodallega squared for McCormack to lash home from range past a stunned Alex Smithies and seal all three points for the Cottagers.
