Huddersfield Town were unable to bounce back to winning ways but secured a hard-fought point against Sheffield Wednesday in a goalless draw on Saturday .

Nahki Wells had the best chance from a Town perspective in the second half, but was unable to beat travelling goalkeeper Kieren Westwood with a low drive.

Sean Scannell went closest in the opening period but was thwarted by former Leeds United centre-back Tom Lees as he looked to divert Tommy Smith's cross into the net.

Wednesday's most presentable opportunities came late in the contest, with Stevie May desperately unlucky to see his effort ricochet off both crossbar and post before Royston Drenthe was denied late on by the impressive Joe Murphy .
