HUDDERSFIELD Town have released 19-year-old defender Spencer Harris from his contract.
The centre back is set to join Unibond Premier Division side Ossett Town after Town decided they would not be extending his current agreement at the end of the season.
Town manager Lee Clark said: "I informed Spencer that he would not be getting an extension to his contract and, as I have always said, I will do everything to help young players not lucky enough to get a deal here to find a new club.
"That is why I told Spencer of my decision so early as I don’t want him to be struggling to find a new club at the end of the season when thousands of youngsters are in the same position – I wish him the best of luck."
