TOWN manager Lee Clark has today rubbished reports he's about to sign Rochdale striker Adam Le Fondre.
The former Stockport player netted 21 times in Rochdale's run to the League II play-offs last season and was reported to be a £150,000 target for the Galpharm club.
"It's news to me," said Clark, who is already working on re-shaping his squad for the 2009-10 campaign.
"There is nothing in it, that's all I can say."
Le Fondre, 21, has been at Spotland since August 2007 and has 62 goals in 174 career appearances.
