PETER JACKSON refused to be downhearted today about dropping two home points and vowed: "We'll be up there at the end of the season."

Jackson watched Town fail to score for the first time in 32 matches (since they were beaten 2-0 at Bradford in March) and commented:

"We are always disappointed when we don't win, especially when we feel we can beat anybody here at the Galpharm, but we've stayed in second with Southend losing and we've got another big home game to come against Forest.

"It was our final delivery which let us down around the box, but I felt we controlled a good part of the game and at least we kept a clean sheet.

"As I've said, teams are going to come here and make it difficult for us to break them down, but I was pleased we kept our discipline and you would have expected Andy Booth to score at least one of the headers he had late on. Those were our best chances in the game."

Jackson was pleased with a season-best gate of 17,331 and added: "We are getting stronger this season and we'll get better. I've every confidence we will be up there come the end of the season."

* Fans are reminded tomorrow's friendly at AFC Emley has been postponed.
