WE plan to publish a series of articles reiterating our main objectives and activities and to start this off, here is a summary of what those are: our Mission Statement.
Huddersfield Town Supporters Trust is affiliated to both Supporters Direct (as an Industrial & Provident Society) and the Football Supporters Federation and, therefore, has the following objectives:
One: Promote and support the concept of democratic supporter ownership and representation through mutual, not-for-profit structures.
Two: To fully promote football clubs as civic and community institutions.
Three: Work to preserve the competitive values of league football in the UK and promote the game as a whole.
Four: Campaign for the rights of football supporters at all levels of the British game.
The Trust participates in the Huddersfield Town Development Association, along with other supporter groups and club representatives.
This has the autonomous objective of overseeing the management of the Academy, which is regarded by the Trust as a vital element in the future of the club.
