Huddersfield Town kick off their EFL Cup campaign at Shrewsbury Town tonight, with the club flying high following the opening day victory over Brentford at the weekend.

Nahki Wells has travelled to Greenhous Meadow with the squad and could be given his first minutes on the pitch this season, having recovered from a knee injury.

David Wagner has never won a cup fixture with Town - having lost to Reading in an FA Cup third round replay - and is keen to set the record straight on Tuesday evening against the Shrews.

Shrewsbury on the other hand have a solid record in cup competitions, overcoming Blackburn Rovers, Norwich City, Derby County, Swansea City and Leicester in the past five years.

Wagner has admitted the team that played at the weekend will not be the same to start against Shrewsbury, but has kept his team selection under wraps, choosing to leave it to the day of the game to pick his XI.
