Walsall have rejected a bid from an unnamed Championship club for striker Tom Bradshaw.

The forward has been linked with a Huddersfield Town move this window, but is also interesting a number of other clubs in the division after netting 12 times in 25 games so far this term.

Meanwhile, ahead of Saturday's FA Cup clash with David Wagner's men, Reading have been linked with a £3m move for Peterborough striker Conor Washington.

It would be a club record transfer should the move go through for the forward, who is also said to be interesting Birmingham City and QPR.

Washington is rumoured to have sat out training on Thursday amid talks for his signature.

Elsewhere, Cardiff City have slapped a £10m asking price on goalkeeper David Marshall.

Everton were rumoured to be interested in the Scotland international, but the Bluebirds are determined not to sell unless they are offered a high price.

And with Marshall under contract until 2018, any interested parties will have to pay big money to land the stopper.

Dutch outfit NEC have admitted they may not be able to hold onto Christian Santos after interest from Hull City was revealed.

The Venezuelan is out of contract in the summer and is also being watched by AZ Alkmaar.

A senior international, Santos has scored 13 goals in 20 Eredivisie games this season.

QPR are desperate to offload goalkeeper Robert Green, with former Town keeper Alex Smithies set to win the regular spot between the posts.

The 24-year-old has largely been on the bench since his move to the Rs, but that could be about to change under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

Green is out of contract in the summer but would trigger an extension if he plays 30 times this term and Rangers aren't keen to keep paying his high wages with Smithies waiting to take over.

Middlesbrough have been busy on the loan deal front - on the same day that James Husband joined Huddersfield Town, former Terrier Muzzy Carayol has signed for Leeds United until the end of the season.

Town sent the wideman back to the North East earlier this week with David Wagner deciding he had a surplus of options in the position.

Carayol, who will be eligible for a debut against Rotherham in the FA Cup on Saturday, said; "It was a move which happened very quickly and one which I am delighted to have been able to finalise so soon."

Nottingham Forest have snapped up Slovenia defender Bojan Jokic on loan from Spanish side Villarreal.

The 29-year-old will remain with Forest until the end of the season after making two La Liga starts this term with his parent club, although he also has experience of the Europa League.

It's been a busy day for Dougie Freedman, who has also confirmed a temporary deal for Aston Villa midfielder Gary Gardner and will now give former England keeper Paul Robinson a chance to earn a job.

The keeper is currently a free agent and Forest could sign him as back up to Dorus de Vries, which would enable Dimi Evtimov to go out on loan.

In another Friday deal, Jake Forster-Caskey has rejoined MK Dons on loan until the end of the season.

The midfielder impressed in an earlier spell with the side and parent club Brighton have agreed to a lengthier return this time around.
