Turkish outfit Besiktas are keen to tie up a loan deal for Fulham flop Kostas Mitroglou quickly as they prepare for their Champions League third-round qualifier next month. (Get West London)

The Cottagers have also taken Moroccan international Adil Chihi on trial after his release from Cologne , with the 26-year-old lining up in Fulham's first pre-season friendly against Rangers , which ended in a 4-2 defeat. (Get West London)

Fraizer Campbell's proposed move from Cardiff City to Leicester City is on the verge of collapse after the striker's wage demands proved too high for the Premier League new boys. Crystal Palace are now said to be readying an offer. (Wales Online)

Genk striker Jelle Vossen has sent a come-and-get-me plea to Middlesbrough after the Teessiders' inquiry last week was rebuffed by the Belgian side. Boro expect Lukas Jutkiewicz's future could be resolved in the coming days to pave the way for a move. (Gazette Live)

Brighton and Hove Albion have knocked back another bid from Premier League new boys Leicester for Leonardo Ulloa , with the Seagulls adamant they do not need to sell their star striker. (The Argus)

Watford are targeting three more signings ahead of the 2014/2015 season as Giuseppe Sannino's side edges nearer to completion. A deal for Juan Carlos Paredes is set to be finalised with a reserve goalkeeper, a holding midfielder and an attacking midfielder the others on the wishlist. (Watford Observer)

Rotherham United have shelved plans to sign Middlesbrough midfielder and former loanee Richard Smallwood as well as AZ Alkmaar winger Johann Berg Gudmundsson after the Millers' bid was rejected for the former and the latter's wage demands proved excessive. (The Star)

Blackpool have invited midfielder Faris Haroun back on trial as manager Jose Riga runs the rule over his fellow countryman with a view to offering him a short-term deal to bolster his depleted squad. (Blackpool Gazette)
