Premier League new boys Burnley could face competition in their bid to sign Troy Deeney from Watford and will have to significantly raise their £6m bid if they are to prise the striker away from the Hornets. (Lancashire Telegraph)

Bolton Wanderers have left Keith Andrews and Chung-Yong Lee out of their pre-season trip to Scandinavia, with the former looking to tie up a move to Sheffield Wednesday or Huddersfield Town , with the Owls favourites. (The Bolton News)

Ruben Rochina's Blackburn Rovers exit could soon be sealed after reports in Spain that Granada have won the race for his signature. While they are believed to be premature, Gary Bowyer is looking to get the Spaniard off the wage bill as soon as possible. (Lancashire Telegraph)

Blackpool look set to receive tribunal fees for the departing Tom Ince and Harrison McGahey after the Seasiders knocked back both Hull City and Sheffield United's bids. The popular Angel Martinez could be set to stay though after Pool offered him a new deal. (Blackpool Gazette)

Derby County defender Kieron Freeman is still a target for League One outfit Sheffield United but the Rams - who need a new right-back - have already rejected an opening loan request. (Derby Telegraph)
