Cardiff City are on the verge of losing their captain Steven Caulker, with the central defender all set to undergo a medical at Premier League side QPR before completing a reported £8m move. (Wales Online)

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has confirmed that Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo will re-join the Teessiders on loan next week after Jose Mourinho decided the Nigerian international was best served in the Championship for his development. (Gazette Live)

Leicester City have had a £7.5m bid for Watford striker Troy Deeney turned down but have completed the signing of Brighton and Hove Albion striker Leonardo Ulloa in a club-record move. (Watford Observer/The Argus)

Istres midfielder Florian Tardieu is on the verge of a move to Sheffield Wednesday, with Owls boss Stuart Gray hopeful of finalising the signing by the time the club's pre-season tour of Slovenia comes to a close. Blackburn Rovers striker Leon Best is another target. (The Star)
