Huddersfield Town have reportedly made a second bid for Wolves winger Rajiv van La Parra - what's your reaction to that possible deal?

Jamie Paterson's loan deal will see him stay at Town until the end of the season - despite interest from Brentford.

Meanwhile, a link with Scunthorpe striker Paddy Madden looks like a non-starter.

But what are Town's Championship rivals up to? Stay tuned as we bring you the best rumours and the latest deals from now until the end of the window.

Latest on Town

With lots of other Championship clubs making moves, what next for Town?

The latest Bamford

Not a day goes by without an update on Patrick Bamford - or so it would seem.

Boro have been angling for a return all month and now it seems Hull City have got in on the act. Chelsea are happy to let him leave on loan, but now it seems they could be ready to cash in and let him go permanently - as long as they have a buy back clause.

This one isn’t going anywhere and by Monday surely Bamford will be out of Stamford Bridge.

The question is...where?

Done deal - Derby sign Olsson

Another done deal of the day - Blackburn have parted with Markus Olsson, who has signed for promotion chasers Derby County.

The Swede has signed a three and a half year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Brentford boss comments on Paterson speculation

We’ve already told you there is nothing to worry about when it comes to Jamie Paterson leaving before the end of the season but if you want further confirmation...

Brentford are the side being linked with his signature, but Bees boss Dean Smith has said: “It’s not one we’re pursuing at the moment.”

Good news for a Wednesday afternoon there!

Keep or sell - have your say

Earlier this month, we asked you your thoughts on the current Town squad.

Who should stay and who should go?

Charlton taking action

We haven’t been short of rumours on Charlton Athletic youngster Ademola Lookman this month. Premier League giants have been circling Lookman, including Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City.

The Addicks are evidently worried - they’ve offered him a new four year deal until 2020 to stay with them.

Progress

McCormack desperate to move on?

Ramirez doesn’t look to be the end of Middlesbrough’s activity this month either. They’ve apparently been keen on Ross McCormack for a while now, and he’s desperate to leave Craven Cottage.

He was left out of the squad to face Hull at the weekend due to “illness”.

Fulham are currently under a transfer embargo and manager Slavisa Jokanovic insists they are under no pressure to sell.

He said: “There is always speculation about McCormack, but people need to understand Fulham too.

“If they are serious people they see we do not need money right now, we need other things, and we are not in a situation where we have to sell our best players.”

Given his record against Town, I’m sure most fans would be happier if he switched leagues as well as clubs!

Wolves targetting Walsall duo?

Remember Tom Bradshaw? David Wagner categorically denied any Huddersfield Town interest earlier this month and now it seems Wolves are keen to snap up him and his teammate Rico Henry.

Wolves have money to spend after selling Benik Afobe and are still harbouring play-off ambitions, but then so are Walsall.

Both Bradshaw and Henry have had extensive interest from Championship clubs while Henry has been watched by Premier League scouts.

Will either deal get over the line this week?

Today's done deals

Couple of biggish moves today then...

Middlesbrough have signed Gaston Ramirez on loan from Southampton until the end of the season, while former Blackburn keeper Paul Robinson has joined....Burnley. Can imagine how well that one has gone down at Ewood Park.

Reaction to van La Parra rumours

Shall we start with Town?

What better place to start than with Huddersfield themselves?

Reports suggest the club have made a second bid for Wolves man Rajiv van La Parra. Is he the missing link? We’ve analysed where he might fit in at Town right here, and it seems his preference is for a starting berth on the right wing.

But is that a position Town need to strengthen? Should van La Parra be top of the shopping list?

Counting down

The January transfer window is due to slam shut in just under a week - but the indications are that the deals are only just getting started.

Rumour, gossip, speculation...there’s loads of it around at the moment right across the Championship.

We’ll be bringing you all the latest from now until the window shuts so stick with us across the next few days.
