READING boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to offer Huddersfield a 'double your money' bid for hot shot striker Jordan Rhodes.

According to the Daily Mirror, Rodgers is prepared to pay over £600,000 for Rhodes who has scored 13 since joining from Roy Keane's Ipswich in the summer.

The Reading chief has been given money to spend on improvements for his team, who are at the wrong end of the Championship, and he thinks prolific Rhodes could be the answer to his problems.

However Clark is determined to keep Rhodes and there are other bigger clubs watching his progress already - with the level-headed prospect prepared to wait for his chance.
