Huddersfield Town fans were left feeling humiliated for the second season running after another derby day defeat at Leeds United.

Such was the Terriers lack of bite that Leeds were in control from start to finish.

When Rudy Austin picked up Joel Lynch’s attempted clearance in the 19th minute the Jamaican drilled a rising shot past Alex Smithies and into the roof of the net to put the home side in front.

The going was tough enough but in a carbon copy scenario to last season – just a minute before half time – Town switched off once again, and when Giuseppe Bellusci’s deft chip rose above Smithies and rebounded off the bar, the ball fell invitingly to Mirco Antenucci who made no mistake with the rebound to put Leeds two up.

Into the second half and things didn’t improve for Town when Doukara scored.
