Angling: Franek Staniuszko takes Hoyle Ing’s Kippax Park title

FRANEK STANIUSZKO had to feed two pints of caster before winning Hoyle Ing’s Kippax Park meeting.

Staniuszko pole fished caster at 11 metres for a mostly ide-based catch, after keeping the fish interested with his generous helping of bait.

Stuart Whitwam caught ide on red maggot on the drop, while Neil Blacker fished chopped worm and caster for a mixed bag, and Richard Holmes fished pellet for ide and carp for a share of third place.

Starting in April there will be a total of 14 matches. So competitors are invited to book and go along.
