LONGWOOD Harriers athletes are back up and running in 2011.

Rebecca Morris and Chloe Hever ran the 3,000m for Under 13 girls at the Yorkshire and Humberside Cross Country Championship in Doncaster.

Morris finished 25th in 14mins 31sec while Hever was 42nd in 15-21.

In the Under 15 Girls 4,000m, Freya Carter Williams was 37th in 19-43.

Ama Carter Williams led the way for Longwood in the Under 17 Ladies 4,500m, finishing 25th in 23-30. Clubmate Kirsty Leih was 29th in 24-06.

Among the seniors, Donald Kennedy had a fine 11th-place from 140 finishers in the Pennine 10k at Brighouse.

His time of 34-35 earned him fourth place in the Under 45s. Ian Mitchell was second Under 55 with a time of 44-01 for 39th overall and Mick Proctor was second Under 60, crossing the line 64th in 46-07.
