THURSDAY’S final of the Veterans Team Knockout has been switched to Moldgreen Con (2.00).
The final is between Lockwood Con, who have a handicap of 10, and Milnsbridge A and the winners will take home £150 in prize money (it’s £80 for the runners-up).
There are three pairs matches and four singles to make up the final, which is sponsored by Armitages Pennine Garden Centre of Shelley and Armitages Birchencliffe Garden Centre.
Players should conform to the dress code and the draw is (Lockwood Con names first) – doubles: G Smith and T Feaney v T Barker and B Walsh, A Mallinson and D Mellor v JD Wright and E Hewson, D Gregory and D Quarmby v JD Haigh and M Rhodes.
Singles: P Ramsden v P Hirst, H Ellis v T Randerson, M Fisher v B Starkey, J Shaw v G Illingworth.
