ROSEBOWL winner Chris Davies chalked up his second success of the winter by winning the latest Griffin Sixteen.

He achieved it with the help of an amazing comeback in the final against Paul Ingleby, who led 18-12 but never scored again!

Davies, understandably, was delighted to pocket the £70 top prize, although he played solidly throughout.

Strangely for runner-up Ingleby, he staged his own comeback to win his first-round match against Ray Whitwam 21-16, having been 16-10 down before a break of 11.

Runaway favourite Jack Dyson, at 12-1 on for the heat betting, fell at the first hurdle when losing 21-19 to Barry Gibson.
