IT’S SHOWDOWN time for the focused Huddersfield Veterans.
The Perrys-sponsored Yorkshire Inter-district side face Skipton in their last match of the season tomorrow with the title on the line (1.30).
Huddersfield and Skipton are the joint leaders on 201 points but, if that wasn’t intriguing enough, third-placed West Riding are only 11 points behind and are also in with a good chance of taking the honours as they face bottom district Leeds in their final outing.
Both Huddersfield line-ups know the importance of the Skipton clash and they will be aiming to reverse the earlier setbacks suffered during this series of league matches.
Lockwood Con stages the home clash while the away team go to Cononley BC as Huddersfield bid to retain the title.
