MARGARET HIGGINS, of Ossett Flying Horse, won the third staging of the Joyce Winterbottom Memorial bowling competition.
The popular ladies bowling event is held at Meltham BC as a tribute to the club’s former stalwart and is sponsored by Joyce’s son Richard Winterbottom, of Talkative, and attracted 50 entrants.
Higgins won £150 and a donation was made to the oncology unit at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
