MELTHAM BC won the Colne Valley Floodlight Bowling League Section I title for the first time in their history.
In the league sponsored by Grosvenor Chemicals of Linthwaite, they pipped Slaithwaite CBC A who finished runners-up.
Section II was won by Waterloo BC, with Thorpe Green pipping Lockwood Con on countback for the runners-up slot.
Section III was dominated by Marsh Utd, with Lindley Lib in second.
Milnsbridge Lib B won Section IV, with Golcar Lib as runners-up
Winners of the respective divisional averages were Paul Sigsworth (Meltham BC), Robert Mudd (Waterloo BC), Dave Simmons (Marsh Utd) and Kevin Brown (Milnsbridge Lib B).
These prizes, along with all the Summer League and Floodlight League trophies, will be given out at the Bapp Industrial Supplies Colne Valley Bowling League presentation evening at Thorpe Green SSC tomorrow (8.00).
