IT’S the final of Jacko’s Memorial competition at the Griffin Bowling Club on Sunday (11.00).

The event is sponsored by The Griffin Lodge and the field of 16 are sure to produce some excellent bowling in pursuit of the silverware.

The event was won 12 months ago by Paul Sigsworth, who defeated Steven Hirst in the showpiece.

Hirst is in the field again this year, as is Ronnie Wormald, fresh from his victory in the latest Sixteen when he beat Peter Kain 21-10 in the final.

Wormald was in solid form throughout the event, which was sponsored by Wayne Dews.
