SLAITHWAITE CBC A have retained the BAPP Industrial Supplies Colne Valley Bowling League title after a long and hard struggle with runners-up Crosland Moor, while Longwood BC finished a creditable third in the Premier Section.

Apart from one outstanding match, the rain-affected Colne Valley Summer League has come to a close.

In the Hamilton Cup, Hemplow A, who led the table for most of the season, managed to hold on and win the section and gain promotion to the top flight, while the runners-up position between Thorpe Green, Broad Oak A and Milnsbridge BC A has still to be decided.

Bradley and Colnebridge produced a strong second half of the season to win the Radley Cup with Lindley Lib as runners-up.

In the Shaw Cup Slaithwaite CBC B won promotion and their section for a second consecutive season while Paddock I and C finished runners-up after a tight finish with Huddersfield RUFC BC. Golcar CAC just pipped Marsden Park for the Hanson Cup.
