THE highly-successful Huddersfield Veterans launch their Yorkshire Inter-district campaign tomorrow.

They face Castleford at Lindley (Private) Bowling Club, while the away side visit Savile Park (1.30).

Players should note the rules have been amended to include the YCCGBA dress code, so the Huddersfield Association would prefer all players to wear Huddersfield shirts and grey trousers.

New players will be provided with Huddersfield shirts and the association would like to thank all those who turned up for the practice match at Lindley but who, on this occasion, have not been selected.

Officials and players expressed their appreciation to the Lindley club for the use of their excellent facilities, refreshments and for the hospitality shown by members.

David Armitage of the Veterans Association will be at the Inter-district match tomorrow and any club representatives wishing to drop off competition entry forms can do so.

Reps should note that Six-man Team fixtures in the Over 80s and Over 70s have been transposed for May 27 and June 10. They should instead refer to the 10-man fixtures on the previous page of the handbook.
