COWCLIFFE A, from Section A of the Huddersfield Ladies Bowling League, lifted the Nunns Trophy with victory against Marsh United B in the final at Almondbury Liberal Club.
Cowcliffe, giving 30 start to their opponents from Section D, won the cup with a 194-146 victory.
The event, for teams who had been eliminated in the first round of the Sanderson Cup, was again sponsored by Judith Bond, the daughter of Bessie Nunns, who was assisted by her daughter Laura Bond in choosing the lady-of-the-match award.
This went to Marsh United B captain Sarah Winterburn, who won both her games and bowled to a very high standard all day.
In the semi-finals, the champions, off scratch and captained by Eileen Wooltorton, beat Netherton Con B (off 50) 198-163, while runners-up Marsh United B beat Syngenta C (off 20) 226-184.
