The transfer deadline for players competing in the Huddersfield Bowling League has been changed to the date of the registration meeting which is the last Monday in January.
Club representatives at the half-yearly meeting of the Huddersfield Bowling Association voted for the change so to coincide with the date that teams are submitted.
Only in exceptional circumstances will transfers be allowed after that date, and any such requests should be accompanied by a non returnable £5 fee.
The £2 transfer fee remains the same.
There was also a vote to change the start time of Saturday League matches from 2.30 to 2.00.
Representatives voted 23-21 in favour but the rule change did not go through because there were less than two-thirds in favour.
There will not be a meeting of Executive Committee in November and so the next meeting will take place on Monday, December 3, at Paddock I and C (7.30).
