ENTRIES are now being taken for the prestigious Marsh £1400 competition.
There’s £600 for the winner in the HB Clark-sponsored competition, which has eight qualifying rounds on June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and July 6 13, 20, with the final at Marsh United on August 3.
The runner-up will receive £300 and there are two £130 prizes for the losing semi-finalists. Quarter-finalists get £60 each.
It’s 6pm practice each night with competition under way at 6.30 and the first 64 entries (£10 each) will be accepted by Anthony Harper on 07966 425736. Cheques should be made payable to the club and posted to the club address at Eldon Road, Marsh, HD1 4ND.
