IT’S the final of the junior Steve Batler Memorial Trophy competition at Marsh Lib on Sunday (10am).

The event is basically for very inexperienced young bowlers and is sponsored by Chris Batler and the Ken Davy Fund.

Entries are now being taken for the Linthwaite CBC Junior and Senior Pairs on Monday, August 27 (10am).

A maximum of 32 pairs will be allowed and it’s £6 to enter. Prizemoney will total £400 with £160 and a trophy to the winner.

Refreshments will be avaialable all day and pairings should note the junior player must be under 18 on August 27.
