JACQUI ROPER and Steven Haigh are off to the British Mixed Pairs final in October having won the Yorkshire Paul Sigsworth Mixed at Elland C&BC.
At the culmination of a long but excellent day of competition, they beat Karen Portman and Rob Lloyd 21-15 in the final.
The finalists and semi-finalists will all represent Yorkshire in the British event.
There was a new trophy this year supplied by GA Hirst and an increase in prize money thanks to sponsors Elland C&BC and Harvester Cottages.
