Tuesday: Meltham A v Bradley & Colne (at Milnsbridge Lib), Hemplow B v Moldgreen Con (at Jackson Bridge), Shepley A v Linthwaite CBC A (at Skelmanthorpe), Almondbury BC B v Hemplow A (at New Mill).

Friday: Brockholes C v Syngenta A (at Paddock CBC).

(Golcar CBC, Golcar Lib B and Shepley B have byes while Syngenta C and Netherton Con B have a walkover due to the withdrawal of teams.)

The Veterans Over 80’s competition takes place on two greens, Marsh United and Milnsbridge BC on Friday, June 6 (2.00).

Players should report to their respective green by 1.45 where the draw will take place.

Newly-crowned Yorkshire Merit champion Nicky White (Thongsbridge) takes on Ashley Daykin, playing for New Mill, in the first round of the Dearne and Don Merit final, sponsored by Holme Valley Bathroom Designs, on Wednesday.

Hoylandswaine BC hosts the event (6.30).

Darren Hennessy won on his debut as Longwood beat South Manchester Royal British Legion 9-6 on a home green in the Manchester Premier League.

Tommy Johnstone’s 21-9 win was not good enough for SMRBL after last man Mark Bramall won 21-16 to give Longwood the aggregate win.

Lower Hopton had two winners away and lost 11-3 at Richmond (Liverpool).

On Wednesday Longwood are away to Tottington (Bury) while Lower Hopton host Pierpoints (Warrington).
